Frequently asked questions
Is entry really free?
Yes. Reserving costs £5 per seat, and every pound is returned as food credit at the stalls — so attending effectively costs nothing, and your reservation guarantees your place.
Where do I park?
Free parking is available on site at Masjid Taqwa Hall, 1 Harewood Street, Leicester LE5 3LX.
Can I bring my family?
The event is for male attendees. Girls aged 9 and under are welcome; under-16s should be accompanied by a guardian.
What happens on each day?
Saturday hosts the E, D and C category finals with talks and recitations between sessions. Sunday hosts the B and A finals, lectures, and the awards ceremony from 6:30pm where all champions are announced.
I'm travelling from outside Leicester — can I stay overnight?
A free Qur'an camp at Masjid al-Furqan (LE1 2HX) hosts brothers over the whole weekend, breakfast included — minutes from the finals venue.
